Stelios is the Founder and Festival Director of the

Anafi International Film Festival, an annual celebration of cinema, culture, and community that will be held on the beautiful Greek island of Anafi. Stelios studied film at the University of Sussex, UK, and his passion for films has taken him around the world, where he has screened his own work and connected with filmmakers and film enthusiasts alike

 

Stelios's first short film, Sammer (2021), has travelled to many festivals across the globe, and has earned critical acclaim for its unique perspective and powerful storytelling Inspired by his experiences as a filmmaker, Stelios founded the Anafi International Film Festival to create a platform for emerging and established filmmakers to share their work and connect with like-minded individuals

 

With a deep love for travelling, films, and connecting people, Stelios has assembled a talented team of young individuals to support his vision for the festival. Together, they work tirelessly to curate a diverse and inclusive program that reflects their commitment to inspiring, educating, and entertaining audiences from around the world
